Pumpkin Pear Soup Tue, 27 September 2005 19:36
1 box Pacific Chicken Broth
2 cans Pumpkin (like what you use for pie)
1-2 Asian Pears diced
1/2 an onion chopped
Minced garlic to taste
Pepper
2 Tbs. Butter

Sauté onion with butter, add garlic. In a sauce pan, combine and simmer broth, pumpkin, and pears. Add sautéed mixture to soup. Allow to simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes to blend the flavors.

To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.

To Reheat: Reheat on stovetop or microwave.

Not my bowl of soup. It wasn't bad, just a bit bland. The texture was too much for Liem. It was fun to try something so different though!
