Applesauce Barbeque Sauce Chicken Wed, 07 June 2006 16:10
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. ketchup
2 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 chicken breasts

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix applesauce, ketchup, brown sugar, lemon juice, salt, ground black pepper, paprika, garlic powder and cinnamon. Stirring frequently, bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat and use to marinate and baste the meat of your choice. To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.

To Reheat: Grill chicken until done, basting with BBQ Sauce.

This one scared me a little, I thought the texture might be funny or the taste too sweet. It was really, really good! Definitely a make again!!
