Beef Stew Mon, 09 February 2004 00:24
1-1/4 lb lean Stew Meat
1 Stew Mix Packet
Fresh Vegetables, such as;
    3 cloves Garlic
    1 cup Onion
    4 cups sliced Carrot
    6 cups diced Potato
    3 cups Green Beans
    3 cups Celery

Add a small amount of canola oil to a stew pot. Brown stew meat. Saute onion and garlic. Add enough water to cover. Boil for 1-1/4 hours. Add the remaining vegetables. Cover partially and simmer until potatoes are slightly under done.

To Freeze: Place stew in freezer containers.

To Reheat: Either defrost or reheat from frozen in a covered pot until potatoes are fully cooked.

Really good as long as the potatoes aren't overcooked.
