		Filipino BBQ Chicken Skewers

2.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into 1” cubes 
6 oz 7-up 
1/2 cup soy sauce 
1/2 cup white vinegar 
1 lemon, juice of 
1/3 cup brown sugar 
6 cloves garlic, crushed 
1 tsp black pepper 
crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a large non-reactive bowl and marinate the meat overnight. 
 
To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.
 
To Reheat:  If using wooden skewers, soak in water at least an hour so they don't burn on the grill. Thread the meat onto skewers and grill. Discard unused marinade.

	Really, really liked this one!  We let it marinade in the refrigerator overnight before cooking it.  Super flavorful, not too sweet.  Just right!
